Davidson Lands Conservancy
Breathing new life into their brand
Brief
Our first introduction to Davidson Lands Conservancy was on a Saturday morning many years back at Davidson’s Farmers Market (which is my happy place!) They had a table that taught kids all sorts of different things about nature and my kids and I were instantly in love. Since then we’ve been all in–from salamander and spider hunting, to mud parties, to their big Run For Green. Their mission to conserve land and raise awareness about the value of conservation and connecting their lives to nature fit Colorful Creative like a glove!
We helped them develop new marketing materials for Run for Green and then moved into rebranding them and building their website. Go check out their site and you might find some of my macro photography in there (and maybe one or two of my kids!) We were able to present them a brand which we were then able to give to one of our amazing partners, Carrie Boyd, who developed the incredible newsletter that you can see in the images here.
Deliverables
Our new brand for DLC was essential in building the new website and moving their goals forward. We have also contributed writing, coding, project management, and connected them with partners that have also helped them reach their goals. And for Run for Green, we created everything from t-shirt designs to the medal that everyone won at the end of the race! Davidson Lands Conservancy is also one of the original members of the Colorful Creative Collective and we now contribute financially to their mission every month.
Results
Our consistent branding and messaging has helped Davidson Lands Conservancy launch a new chapter of their company with a clear sense of their brand and how it ties in with new new messaging and goals. They are prepared now to move forward on other rebranding of their materials with the help of Colorful Creatives Partners.
